My Story
I was born in Phoenix, AZ, but spent much of my childhood in Anchorage, Alaska. I am the oldest of five children and moved to Minnesota in high school. After graduating from Crosby Ironton, I received a full Air Force ROTC scholarship to the University of Minnesota, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business. The first part of my career was spent building a medical device engineering division for a small firm. After volunteering for a pediatric medical device company, I recognized the unmet need to develop medical devices for children.
In 2014, I drafted three pediatric device tax credit bills to incentivize the industry. In the same year, I founded Catchwind Innovations, a Minneapolis based company that helps medical device and healthcare startups bring their products to market. I have worked with startups, investors, and vendors from all over the world and traveled around the country to help teach others about the medical device development and investment process. In 2019, I moved from Minneapolis to the Brainerd Lakes Area and began her career in Real Estate.
Having a strong passion for community involvement, I was on the board of Spare Key, a non-profit that helps families in medical crisis, pay their mortgage and other bills. Currently, I am involved in 100+ Women Who Care and also serve as the Fundraising Chair for the Breezy Point Area Women's Club.
My husband Teddy is a General Contractor, and together we invest in and flip properties. In 2022, I raised a $3M Rental Fund to buy 20 rental homes, which I now manages. I also working with local companies to develop a multi-family unit along with the development of affordable homes around the Brainerd area. We are proud parents to Lily, 14, Liam, 4 and Luka, 1. In my free time, I love to run marathons.
